Lutherans trace our church back to the sixteenth century German monk Martin Luther. Luther was focused on the gift of God’s grace and helping people understand they did not need to earn God’s love. We confess and believe in the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We trust in the Good News of God' and the sacraments of baptism and communion as the power of God’s love.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, our denomination, began in 1988 when three previous Lutheran bodies merged. This church is divided into smaller areas, called synods. St. Paul’s is a part of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod. If you’re looking to learn more about our beliefs or history, check out these links:

You can expect a friendly, welcoming environment. All are welcome here. You will be met by a greeter, who can answer any questions you may have and show you where to find things like the coat rack, bathroom, and nursery. Our building is handicap accessible. Services last about an hour, and include gathering time, reading of scripture and preaching, and communion. All are welcome to receive communion, or if you prefer you may receive a blessing. There is also congregational singing led by our choir or soloists.

All children are welcome in worship, but for those who may need a break from the service, our nursery is staffed with caring individuals who have certification in CPR and background clearances. Nursery care is available for young children during both Sunday School and worship times.
